WHO ARE THE WESTERN DEMONS ?

 

Formed in 1992 the Western Demons are the oldest official interstate supporter group of the Melbourne Football Club. All MFC supporters are welcome to come and join us in supporting the Red & Blue.

The group exists to provide opportunities for WA-based MFC supporters to meet, socialise and support the Melbourne Football Club. Activities include gatherings for televised games and opportunities to attend special events in Perth and away.

Fund raising is an integral part of the Western Demons. All funds raised are directed back to various facets of the Melbourne Football Club :

  • Sponsored Players ( usually from WA ) – Helping usually YOUNGER players away from home with their development & personal expenses.
  • Club Donation / Pledge Per Win – Major funds raised are donated for player development including high performance programs.
  • Past Players – Donation to past MFC players fund setup to help those that may need some extra support.
  • Cheer Squad Membership – Supporting our great friends at the Demon Army whenever we can.
  • Foundation Membership AFLW – Membership to support the MFC AFLW team.

Being a Western Demon means that Melbourne Football Club supporters in WA can come together in a friendly environment to directly support the team in a meaningful and significant way. Everyone is welcome.
